Local Law Enforcement Computer Crime Training

The Local law enforcement computer training initiative is a computer training curriculum -- including training materials and videos -- jointly sponsored by the private industry and the Department of Justice specifically focused to train local law enforcement officials on catching and prosecuting cyber predators and child pornographers.

On January 21, 1998, 150 law enforcement and the Internet industry emissaries attended the first law enforcement training seminar in Washington, DC.
